A-Coins are participation credits used only on AuctIt. They are not cash and cannot replace item prices. Listing prices and bids stay in ₹ INR; buyers and sellers settle those payments off-platform.
Conversion: 1 A-Coin = ₹1 (whole coins only).
Balance types:
- Promotional — welcome grant (20 on signup) and any ministry grants. These are never refundable.
- Purchased — bought via Cashfree. Unused purchased A-Coins can be refunded (minimum 2 coins, up to your unused purchased balance) minus a 2% processing fee (minimum ₹1, rounded up).
When you spend or reserve A-Coins, promotional coins are used first, then purchased coins.
Where they are used:
- Bidding — each accepted bid reserves 1 A-Coin. Losers get reserved coins back when the auction ends; the winner’s spent coins are kept.
- Listing — submitting a listing reserves 1 A-Coin. It is charged only when the listing is approved; rejected listings release the reserve.
- Extend auction — extending a live auction costs 1 A-Coin immediately.
- Promote listing — from My listings, highlight an active classified or live auction as Valued: 99 A-Coins for 7 days, 149 for 14 days, or 249 for 30 days (charged immediately; another plan extends from the current promotion end).
